  • The post holder will be responsible for the overall operational effectiveness and leadership of several of the Division’s Business Units.
  • Responsibility for the delivery of all performance standards including national cancer waiting times and referral to treatment (RTT) indicators for the specialties.
  • Provide the day to day leadership within the business units to ensure all functions executed comply with established governance arrangements.
  • Proactively support all quality and service improvement initiatives.
  • Responsibility for complaint management, implementation and monitoring of relevant guidance.
  • Line manage staff within the Business Units and work in collaboration with the Clinical Leads to ensure effective workforce planning, performance of teams and on-going business development.
  • Deputise for the Head of Cancer Services and will represent the Trust at relevant Strategic Clinical Network and Cancer Alliance.
