Key deliverables:
- Provide specialist knowledge, advice and practice to Trust staff consistent with the requirements of the Trust Safeguarding Adult policy and procedure.
- Effectively promote the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults by enabling staff to identify families were Adult Safeguarding may be an issue.
- Ensure records for Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults are written and stored in compliance with the policies and clinical governance framework of the Trust.
- Contribute to the management of risk in relation to individual cases.
- Provide specialist knowledge, support and advice to staff on safeguarding adult issues.
- Undertake project work in relation to developing the Safeguarding Unit.
