First Clinical are supporting out client based in the East of England for an interim Operational Manager until the end of March, however this is could be extended pending budget approval. The role will involve management of two sites and liaison with local partners as well as Macmillan Cancer. ENT and/ or Ophthalmology experience is desired, however not essential. Excellent communication skills and public relation skills are required.

• The Operational Manager is responsible for operational delivery, operational performance, financial performance, governance, change and business development across the Specialist Surgery area (ENT, Head & Neck and OMFS).
• Work effectively in partnership with Clinical Directors and Divisional Nurses.

• The Transformation & Service Manager will be responsible for assisting in delivering the transformation programme and delivery for T&O, Oral Surgery, ENT & Plastics Services.
• Input into the divisional transformation programme within the wider trust transformation team.
• Day to day operational management for services.
• Supporting the Senior Management Team, Consultant Surgeons and other stakeholders in daily Management of T&O.
• Production of plans, documentation and the responsibility of ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits realised from the implementation of change.

Key deliverables:

• Accountable to the Divisional Director of Operations, the Operational Manager is responsible for operational delivery, operational performance, financial performance, governance, change and business development across the Specialist Surgery area (Audiology, ENT, Head & Neck and OMFS).
• Project manage the final stages of the review and centralisation of all OMFS across the local area.
